Whether You can or can’t, You’re Right

The human mind is full of knowledge, power, possibilities, imaginations, inventions, creations, and curiosities. It is these various qualities and attributes that make us unique and no two individuals can be exactly the same. Such attributes are acquired as we grow everyday into better Celestians. Henry Ford, the founder and owner of Ford Motors quoted, “If you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right.” This quote defines Christians’ mentality, limitations, and overall lifestyle. Your mind dictates the types of limitations and/or capabilities you set for yourself.

In my observations, Celestians are complacent and tend to condemn their abilities in what they can or can’t do without attempting it first. We also tend to limit our mental capabilities because of our own personal insecurities. Apostle Paul reminds us in Philippians 4:13, “I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.” We have hidden strengths, talents, wisdoms, and spiritual gifts that has yet come to fruition from the lack of faith and compromise we’ve put ourselves under. I pray that God will continue to renew our spirit, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to unlock the spiritual capabilities that will make the physical capabilities manifest. The book of John 14:26 also reassures the Holy Spirit will be sent down to teach us ALL things and remind us of God’s word and promises. As Celestians, we need to change our pessimistic attitudes and just believe.

Hymn 291 – The voice of the Lord comes to you…

For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he – Proverbs 23:7.

If Henry Ford understood his mind was the barrier to his own will and success, then how much more of an advantage do we have being children of Christ and the Holy Spirit teaching us? You can move mountains, but you must first believe you can.

I pray Celestians will negate mental limitations from our thoughts, minds, imaginations, and environments in Jesus name.
