Shepherd

Sup. Evang Yomi Dodo-Williams
Shepherd-in-charge Sanctum Parish

My divine calling to be a shepherd (pastor) began in 1989 when I had been a member of the church for about seven years. My calling was revealed through various men of God and to myself but one message in particular highlighted the mission that God had for me. On November 12, 1989, during the course of a 2 a.m. vigil at the Lagos Bar Beach, a prophet from the Cherubim and Seraphim church (a popular church in Nigeria) came to me with a message from the Lord: Arise and shine for your light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. He said, the Lord wants to send you to the United States to go rebuild the walls of Jerusalem (Celestial Church) that has been broken down. He then referred me to the book of Nehemiah.

In 1993, I surrendered all to God and became a bona-fide shepherd of the church. After that time I served at several parishes (churches) under senior shepherds. In 1996, I enrolled in the Celestial Church Bible Institute in Bariga, Lagos. It was here that I learned the power in the word of God and also about Celestial Church of Christ. I graduated from the Institute in 1998 and went on to shepherd a church in Ilorin State, Nigeria.

The prophecy to move to America to continue the work of God was fulfilled in January 1999 when I arrived in California. I started the church the same year. I thank God who has always been faithful and has continued to add to His church.
